Dr. Kristina Bogner

 

Biography:

Until 2012, Kristina Bogner studied “Business Science and Economics” as well as “Economic Policy” at Leipzig University (Germany) and at Université de Fribourg (Switzerland). In 2015, she successfully completed the master’s program in Economics, M.Sc., at University of Hohenheim, with majors in "Economics of Innovation", "Advanced Econometrics" and "Environmental Economics“.

After her graduation, Kristina started as research associate, teaching assistant, and doctoral student at the chair of Innovation Economics. In parallel, she worked one year as a research associate at the Hohenheim Research Center for Bioeconomy (https://biooekonomie.uni-hohenheim.de/en/researchcenter).

In her doctoral thesis, Kristina investigated the generation and diffusion of knowledge and innovation in networks as well as knowledge in and for a sustainable knowledge-based bioeconomy (SKBBE).

Kristina’s main research interests are the transformation towards sustainability, in general, as well as knowledge and learning for the transformation towards a sustainable knowledge-based bioeconomy, in particular.
