Lennart Fischer

Biography

After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Tübingen, Lennart Fischer successfully completed a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at the University of Göttingen. During his Bachelor's degree, he also spent a semester abroad at the Sapienza Università di Roma in Italy. In his Master's thesis, he analyzed the forecasting performance of a macroeconomic agent-based model. Lennart Fischer gained his initial research and teaching experience as a research assistant at the Chair of Econometrics and the Chair of International Economic Policy at the University of Göttingen. He has been employed as a research assistant at our department since April 2024. His current research focuses on agent-based modeling, with a particular emphasis on parameter inference in ABM.
