PhD candidate in Production Engineering at the University of São Paulo (USP). Doctoral research focuses on strengthening Short Food Supply Chains to foster the socioeconomic development of small rural producers in Brazil. The project combines qualitative and multi-criteria decision-making methods to identify structural barriers, prioritize strategic opportunities, and design a digital collaborative platform tailored to smallholders’ needs, while addressing digital inclusion and supporting evidence-based policies for sustainable agri-food systems. During the stay in Germany, the same methods are applied in the context of the bioeconomy, considering the perspectives of experts from both Brazil and Germany, to promote the socioeconomic development of small rural producers.

Holds a CAPES doctoral scholarship from the Brazilian Ministry of Education, supporting research in Brazil and an international stay in Germany.
